THE SECRETS OF EVERYDAY TAILORING

Set amongst the shadows of Surrealism, Dadaist geometrics, and the delicate chimes of Art Nouveau, it is in Paris that a new female biography was born: a story that narrates the secret and passionate relationship between a woman and her bag – an accessory that, to all effects, plays a protagonist in the story’s plot.

Depicting the urban world using tiny material expedients – like metal and marble, as well as more romantic, wishful materials like flowers, air and trees –, all of these elements live peacefully in the midst of the great contradiction that can only be a woman.

Thus, the object that serves as a woman’s favourite accomplice in life is revealed: holding, hiding, and carrying, while faithfully following her silhouette, continually seeking change.

Obviously – and as tradition dictates – a bag must be essential, bare of frills and embellishments that could weigh down the quotidian elegance of a soft, squared-off form.
